Kambria’s 7 Facts:
1. I used to volunteer at my local public library.
I was a teen volunteer at my public library so two summers in a row and it was the best experience of my life! It was like having a job even though I didn’t get paid for it. I worked in the children’s department and it was so amazing because the children are great. I would help the kids do arts and crafts. I’d even play games with them when we had activity, get-your-body-moving days.
2. I’m about to be a senior in high school.
This fact is actually kind of intimidating because even though I try to act like I don’t care about being a senior and that I’m ready to go to college, I’m actually pretty scared about leaving home. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I hate school. But I think I’ll be satisfied when I kind of get to start over in a brand new place with brand new people. But I’m going to try to work my hardest and focus and try to just have fun before high school is over.
3. I’ve never broken a bone.
I did fracture or sprain my wrist one time back in fifth or fourth grade but other than that I’ve never broken a bone. I’m really scared of pain so anything that might bring on that feeling I try to avoid. My brother has broken his arm once though and he didn’t seem that hurt by the situation but I’m sure it’s scary. So let’s knock on wood that it never happens to me.
4. My favorite food is donuts.
These savory little sweet wheels are so delicious! I loved them so much that I used to eat the most out of anyone any time I spent the night at my friend’s house in elementary school. It was also one of the reasons why I loved spending the night at her house. Krispy Kreme is also my favorite brand of donut but guess what! They don’t do Hot Free and Fresh or whatever anymore! You can’t go in and get a free donut when the sign is on ): At least not near me.
5. I can’t cook.
Now this one is truly sad because the thought of living on my own scares me. Like I literally mess up a simple Kraft macaroni and cheese meal. I sometimes can’t even cook Ramen in the package correctly. I don’t know what it is but something always messes up when I try to cook! So hopefully I can find a roommate who will cook every meal for me. And a husband that can cook too. Or be rich enough to hire a cook for my house.
6. I suck at binge-watching TV shows.
Let’s just say I’ve been watching Grey’s Anatomy for over a year now and I’m only on season 10 of 14 seasons. It’s weird! Because some days I watch 13 episodes which span an entire day, but then I don’t watch it again for like a month. I really need to just hammer it all in through the rest of this summer because I feel as if I’m going to be super because once senior year starts. And I have a lot of other shows I need to watch after it.
7. My last one is… My favorite past time is listening to music.
That is if I’m not reading. Music is so amazing! It means so much to me and has so much meaning to so many different people. It can even be interpreted in so many different ways. But then there’s also music that essentially has no meaning, and doesn’t have to be so serious that you can just jam out to. But I refuse to listen to country or heavy metal.
