Hey, everyone! I have some exciting news. This is my first official book tag! I was actually tagged by Rachael @ Beach Bookworm to do the My Name in TBR Books tag. Her post was amazing, so you should go check it out here. I don’t know who originally made the tag but if I ever find it I’ll link it here.
The tag is pretty self explanitory. You spell out your name (I’m going with just my first name) with books that are currently on your to be read shelf. This is probably going to be an eye opener to me for books that I need to read on my shelf. So let’s get into it.
K – Kids of Appetite by David Arnold
So I didn’t have a book on my physical TBR shelf that started with a K so I turned to trusty Goodreads and found this. This one floated around bookstagram for awhile last year but it seemed interesting because of the diversity. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to pick it up.
A – Ask the Passengers by A.S. King
One good reason why I haven’t read this one yet is because I just recently got it a month or two back. I’ve wanted to read this one for a while because it was hyped up on a bookish Tumblr that I followed. I don’t see many people around the book community reading it though so maybe I can bring it up and get some people to read it.
M – Marked by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast
I have zero excuse as to why I haven’t read this one. I got this maybe 4 Christmases ago from my sister who loved it. But it’s about vampires so I always assumed it was corny. Tell me if you’ve read it and what you think please.
B – Betrayed by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast
What a nice segway between these two. Easily I can say, of course I haven’t read this one because it’s the second book to the previous one. I guess another reason I haven’t started this series is because I’m scared of series.
R – Really Professional Internet Person by Jenn McAllister
This explanation’s easy: I don’t like nonfiction books. Sadly another thing is, I don’t really watch this Youtuber anymore so I don’t have as much interest in reading it as I used to. Maybe though I’ll get back into watching her once I’ve read the book.
I – I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak
Another time when I have to turn to Goodreads to find a book. I chose this one because man did I love The Book Thief. I would love to read more of Zusak’s brilliant writing.
A – All the Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater
Ah yes! The perfect one to end on! I’ve been so excited for this book ever since I heard it was coming out and then I actually got in in hardcover and signed! I guess you could say the reason why I haven’t read this one yet is because I just recently got it? I may kick off the new year with it though.
Now to tag people…
Of course if you are tagged and don’t want to do it that is completely fine! If you weren’t tagged and still want to do it, go ahead! That’s all for today though. I hope everyone enjoyed. If you want me to read one of these books super soon, make sure to tell me in the comments.
